Ali Alowonle

Biography

Ali Alowonle is a community organizer, restorative practitioner, educator, and artist who works with community to co-create a more equitable ecosystem. In their 23 years of working in various education systems at school, district, and state levels, ali has prioritized partnering with, centering, and honoring those most impacted by harm created by systems, policies, and practices rooted in oppression.

Abby Rombalski

Biography

Abby Rombalski, PhD, is a faculty member in CEHD’s Department of Curriculum and Instruction who uses Participatory Action Research as one method of public scholarship. As an organizer, Abby supports YoUthROC and other coalitional educational justice efforts, especially when they are youth-led. Abby is committed to being of service within interracial organizations with BIPOC-leadership and with white-bodied educators, families, and students who have much work to do.
